It's Christmas Time at the Cherry Pit!

The Cookie Exchange, Theresa's 60th birthday, and the Christmas Party. We are all 10 pounds heavier after eating all the delicious cookies. We all wish Theresa many more wonderful birthdays. We all enjoyed the fellowship at the Christmas Party.

What great laughter and memories were made at the Cherry Pit this year! We are so blessed to be surrounded by incredible co-workers and fantastic shoppers. Thanks to all who made this year at the Cherry Pit one to remember! Thanks for everything. Happy Quilting - Jane

Pillowcases for Camp Courageous in honor of Elizabeth

What a great day we had! With everyone's help, we made 75 pillowcases to be taken to Camp Courageous! There are so many stories to tell of the wonderful generosity of everyone! We cannot believe the expression of love that came our way as people brought by pillowcases and those who came to make them.

This was done because of our love for our Sarah whose granddaughter passed away this year. Her name was Elizabeth, she was 20 years old, and she was our friend.

The children at Camp Courageous will have their lives brightened by the gift of beautiful pillowcases. Thank you is such a small expression to let you know that what you did planted the seeds of kindness to so many other children who will now have the joy of knowing others care about them. Please join us in making pillowcases!!

When: Anytime from 9:30 till 5:00: Monday, December 5th

Place: The Cherry Pit

Bring: Fabric to make a pillowcase, 1/3 yard for the top, 3/4 yard for the bottom.

To be given to: Center for Courageous Kids

Don't know how to make a roll up pillowcase? We'll teach you. We will be using the sewing machines that will be set up at the Cherry Pit. You don't have to bring your own machine. Once you learn to make pillowcases, they will make great Christmas gifts. Happy Quilting! Jane

Christmas School at the Cherry Pit began Today!!

We had a friend attend Christmas School today - all the way from Canada! Wow!! Happy Quilting - Jane
